ONCE AGAIN ON FEBRUARY 10, 2026 WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

At this meeting the City Council is set to vote on changing the land use to allow rezoning of the golf course property — a plan that threatens to destroy the character, safety, and peace of our community. WE NEED YOU ALL TO BE THERE, WEARING A RED SHIRT. Having a strong community presence does make a difference. Be early as it takes time to sign in. You do not need to speak but if you wish to, you will have 3 minutes.

DON'T ALLOW DEVELOPERS TO TAKE AWAY THE VALUE OF YOUR HOME WITH THEIR PLAN TO MAKE THE FORMER GOLF COURSE A FIELD OF "TINY HOMES!"

THE CITY WILL APPROVE OR DENY THIS PLAN IN FEBRUARY! WE CAN NOT ALLOW APPROVAL TO HAPPEN

IF the plan is approved, it would be submitted to the state for the comprehensive plan change. Then Kolter would come back to submit a site plan with more detailed information. P&Z and City Council would then have next NO SAY in how Royal Oak is actually developed! AND WE ARE WORKING TO KEEP IT FROM GETTING TO THAT POINT!

WHY AM I GETTING THIS EMAIL?

We are a group of Titusville residents concerned about how decisions on future growth and development will impact our community. We came together over concerns about a high density apartment development being proposed by New York City developers for the former Royal Oak golf course. Instead of the 79 homes currently in the zoning plans.

OVER 500 HUNDRED HOMES AND APARTMENTS ARE PLANNED. The result of this irresponsible development will wreak havoc and overwhelm the schools, create massive traffic jams, stress our currently fragile water supply, and create flooding that extends far beyond the nearby homes. If you have seen our No Rezoning signs, you have already seen who we are. As we learned about this and other developments, we realized this is a city wide issue.

 

"But this is only part of developments that are being proposed all over Titusville. You need to know what is planned for your communities as well. And you need to act now so the city will know what you want."
