Dear Neighbors,
ONCE AGAIN... We need you at the next City Council meeting.
At the last meeting, the Council voted to support the citizens. The transmittal was not moved forward. In that moment, they protected our community.
That protection is not guaranteed.
There may now be an effort to change that vote. Under Council rules, this is the only meeting where that can happen. If the vote is changed, the decision that protected Royal Oak can be reversed.
We've said it before... but the time is critical... THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER MEETING!.
This is a moment that will determine the future of our neighborhood.
Royal Oak has always been strongest when we stand together. At the last meeting, the room was full. That unity mattered. It showed that our concerns about flooding, traffic, financial impact, and incompatible housing density are real and shared.
When a community shows up together, it is far harder to ignore. We must stand together again.
If you care about protecting Royal Oak — now is the time to be present.
You do not have to speak. You do not have to argue. You simply need to show up.
