THANK YOU ROYAL OAK RESIDENTS!

ROYAL OAK NEIGHBORS, LLC. IS SOOOO GRATEFUL FOR A STRONG, LOCAL COMMUNITY!

OUR LOCAL CITIZENS STOOD UP FOR TITUSVILLE!

WOW – We are so proud of our Royal Oak Community for showing up at the Planning & Zoning meeting January 21! The latest count is approximately 130 Royal Oak residents – the downstairs lobby overflow area was full!! Your presence made a HUGE difference.

The Planning & Zoning Commission voted unanimously to DENY the request by Kolter to change the Land Use of the golf course to Residential. Current land use is “Conservation/Recreation.” It was a long meeting with other issues on the agenda, but we hung in there and professionally presented our valid points of objection.

WE NEED YOU THERE AGAIN FEBRUARY 10...

This was the first step in Kolter attempting to gain approval for their project. Planning & Zoning is an advisory board; their recommendation now goes to City Council and will be on their agenda February 10, 2026 at 6:30pm. WE NEED YOU THERE AGAIN. If there are at least 3 votes on the city council to DENY this Land Use change, it is likely that the developer would drop the application.

Meanwhile, we will continue the Cow Campaign to show, in a fun way, there are alternatives to the Land Use rather than Kolter’s plan of 511 new homes built with narrow lot widths, fewer feet between homes, short setbacks of back yards, and home styles unlike the character of existing homes. (We kinda like keeping the Live Oaks, gopher tortoises, and sandhill cranes too.)

So, keep that Red No Rezone shirt handy and show up early at the City Council meeting Feb 10. As you know, security lines can get long.

We will prepare speeches again as you saw last night. You can speak if you wish or just be present. Your presence makes a huge difference, and we so much appreciate your support as we work hard to protect our neighborhood.

"But this is only part of developments that are being proposed all over Titusville. You need to know what is planned for your communities as well. And you need to act now so the city will know what you want."
